Helping a local window cleaner see an increase of over £1,500

Uddr Ltd received UK Community Renewal Funding to help Torfaen businesses build their digital footprint. The “Digital Package” project offers local companies the chance to benefit from a fully funded website for 12 months, along with an advertising subscription to the Uddr app for the same period.

The funding that Uddr has received from UKCRF is being put towards the advertising of the project across various marketing channels, with the aim of creating 200 websites for 200 Torfaen businesses between January 2022 and June 2022.

JEMS Window Cleaning, an Uddr partner, recently had a website created as part of the project and has seen revenue rise by £1,500 since their website launched on the 28th January 2022. As well as this, web traffic has increased by 500% and the impact of SEO has already been noticed. One of the many benefits of this package is that Uddr will advertise the websites on social media once completed. JEMS has since seen the impact of this with an increase in their social media reach and engagement.

Small businesses, the self-employed and start-ups often do not have the budget required for a website, and so they struggle to build their brand digitally, something that is so important in the way business is conducted in today’s technology-focused world.

We’ve seen a great response so far from local businesses looking to have a website set-up as part of this project. It takes just three weeks to get them up and running once content has been supplied, and whatsmore it’s all fully funded for 12 months so there’s no reason for businesses not to take advantage.”
